In December 2008, NES associate director and specialist oil & gas recruiter, Sarah Taylor, was short listed as one of just two finalists in the Business Manager of the Year category of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s (REC) Individual Membership Recruitment Awards. In 2007, NES was privileged to be awarded a Queen's Award for Enterprise for International trade. The award was won through delivering significant and sustained year on year growth in international trade and is testament to the global growth strategy of the business.
NES was also a finalist in the 2007 MEN Business of the Year Awards, having been shortlisted from hundreds of entrants in the businesses over £50m category; and was also a finalist in Recruitment International's inaugural awards in the specialist recruitment agency category. NES was narrowly beaten in its defence of the ATSCo award for Best Engineering Recruitment Firm having won the award in 2006.
