Our client is a major division and part of a leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries, and currently looking to recruit an Account Manager in their Sunbury location.

The Account Manager role involves sales of our clients products, developing of contacts, enquiries generation, promotion of the company and its products as well as negotiation of orders with customers based in the region involved in the oil and gas industries.

Also, the ideal candidate will identify and focus on quality jobs that can be won at a good profit margin, while ensuring that the company is included on bid lists and where possible specified on suitable enquiries/projects. The post holder will understand customer needs by correctly interpreting facts to reach logical conclusions, and monitor projects on a regular basis in an effort to stay ahead of the game.

The role will require a manager that can build up close working relationships with key engineers to ensure they are fully aware of all the technical benefits of deploying the companys international equipment.

Ideal candidate will have good commercial foundation to enhance close liaison with proposals during bid preparation stage and provide input where necessary, as well as share market intelligence with the companys regional locations to cooperate with them where appropriate, in jointly pursuing market opportunities.

We strongly desire a natural networker with an appetite for building an extensive range of contacts within the business, and with proven progressive sales experience in either oil and gas service company industry or ideally, the process equipment industry.
