Our clients, are a large Consultancy organisation, who are looking to recruit an Alignment Engineer at their offices in Central London. The position will involve working in a multi-disciplinary team to develop the track alignment design. Working in a multi-disciplinary environment, this role involves the development of track alignment designs from a whole life cycle perspective that meet the project functional, safety and sustainability requirements.

The key requirements for this job are as follows:

Experience in track design would be an advantage.
Microstation or AutoCAD experience would be an advantage.
MXRail (or InRail) CAD experience (further training can be provided).
Working knowledge of HMRI Safety Principles, Railway Group Standards and Network Rail Company Standards.
Enthusiasm and willingness to advance in the company along a technical career path.
At least qualified to BTEC/HTC in Civil, Building or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
A degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline would be desirable.
