Preferably have previously worked a support environment as a software analyst/developer. Understanding of general & CRM bus. practices.
Knowledge of the software dev. lifecycle & professional software dev. std's. Exp. of SQL Server (TSQL, stored procedures, triggers). Exp. of Sage SalesLogix beneficial. Windows OS, SQL Server, SQLRS. Exp. of dev. & maintaining software using Visual Basic, SQL scripting & Crystal Reports. Knowledge of .NET dev. framework & the use of Visual Studio, utilising platforms such as C++, Java, ASP & Visual Basic. Ability to multi-task & prioritise work. Proficient use of MS Office products. As the CRM System Support Team will be providing a Global service, the post holder may be asked to travel domestically or internationally. Supporting the diagnosis of problems in order to ascertain the fastest route to solution. Monitoring & managing user issues/requests as logged in the Global Applications Support Queue. For example ; troubleshooting bugs, dev. new objects (forms, reports, classes, tables), creating SQL views). Responding to calls in accordance with the agreed service SLAs or escalate effectively to the Global CRM Systems Manager when SLA achievement is not possible. Adhering to std service desk & Global IT policies & procedures. Dev. solutions to the highest quality possible by applying std software support & dev. techniques. Keeping up to date with changes to my clients global applications systems, in order to anticipate & avoid disruption to service. Working with users responsively & within a customer service culture. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the global service. Providing out of hours on-call support should business critical issues arise. Co-ordination of fault resolution & testing with external support partner(s).
