My client is looking for a Datafit Developer who must have extensive experience of development using Datafit DP4.523

The following experience will also be required :
Should have experience with Relational Databases (especially INGRES)
Knowledge of VAT Registration Business would be a benefit.
Must have good formal documentation skills.
Must follow in-house development procedures.
Must have experience of client/server development

The role of the developer is to work within a medium-sized development team to amend and deliver a Datafit application to interface with a C-Tuxedo client server application

The key responsibilities will include :
Design, develop and unit test code which implements the required functionality.
Work within the development team and with the technical analysts.
Take part in design reviews and code walkthroughs.
Participate in reviews of other development deliverables, providing support and expertise as required.
Ensure a complete and coherent development is achieved within tight deadlines.
Transfer skills to in-house staff, where possible

Security Clearance is required and will need to be confirmed before start date.
