EHS Officer - Permanent Staff - Cambridge - Pharmaceuticals

Our client is a world leading biopharmaceuticals company employing several thousand people globally and specialising in the development and manufacture of a range of treatments and diagnostic equipment. The company has several facilities in the UK and Worldwide and is currently recruiting for an EHS Officer to join the team on a permanent staff basis.

Your task will be to ensure company compliance with all applicable regulatory and legislative EHS requirements and / or company policies. You will be involved in developing and maintaining appropriate programmes, policies and procedures, ensuring that these are communicated across the site. You will also get involved with compliance monitoring and contribute to forward planning of continuous improvement initiatives.

You should have a strong background and qualification within Health and Safety, Waste Management, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or related discipline. In return, you will receive a competitive salary and first rate benefits package.
