I am looking to recruit a Head of Leadership & Management Development Consultant for my West London client. The ideal candidate willKey Responsibilities:To develop a strategy and plan for leadership development to enable IPS to achieve its Leadership Vision To identify the core management capabilities required by IPS To improve management capability in IPS To develop a strategy and plan to enable IPS managers to develop their required core capabilities To establish systems and processes to evaluate and improve leadership and management development programmes To establish systems to enable the tracking of the development of management and leadership capability To produce a talent pipeline of managers who are capable of driving change within IPS To support creation of development processes that enable management learning To enable managerial learning through coaching To create an environment conducive to learning To manage relationships with internal and external suppliers To keep up to date with best practice Note: An employee may be required to carry out other duties within the scope of the grade and within the limits of their skill, competence and training. Deliverables with deadlines Manage the implementation of the "Be the Change" leadership Programme Monitor the action planning for the staff survey Manage the design and implementation of a talent management process and possibly succession planning Arrange leadership fora Implement Management Essentials Programme Essential Requirements:Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to develop relationships with and influence key stakeholders In-depth experience of the Leadership and Management Development at a strategic as well as operational level Strong organisational skills and a systematic approach to activity planning including budgeting Ability to translate strategies into workable plans Experience of line management and motivating in a pressurised and changing environment Creative in finding solutions to constraints such changes to project time scales, shortage of resources, tight time scales Desirable Requirements:an excellent written and verbal communicator able to work well in a team and with a wide range of people organised, methodical and a good time manager proactive and creative persuasive and diplomatic Person Specification:This role requires a person who can: demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge of developing a strategy and plan for leadership development, enabling IPS to achieve its Leadership objectives and vision; identify the core management capabilities required by IPS; develop a strategy and plan which enables IPS managers to develop their required Core capabilities; improve the management capability in IPS; produce a talent pipeline of managers who are capable of driving change within IPS; support creation of development processes that enable management learning;
