NES are exclusively recruiting an ICT Service Desk Coordinator for our prestigious client based in the Greater Manchester area. This is a brand new role for my client which offers a challenging and rewarding prospect for the right person, the main skills my client is looking to secure from the market include; previous Service Desk Management/Team Leading experience including people management skills, in depth knowledge of MS Office (XP, 2003 & 2007), MS Networking (2000 & 2003 server), TCP/IP, excellent customer support skills, strong written and verbal communication. The ideal candidate will have previously developed Service Desk performance SLAs and KPIs ideally using formal methodology (i.e. ITIL), be able to provide accurate incident reports and have strong problem resolution experience, any industry accreditations would be considered highly desirable, such as MCSE, MCP, ITIL. A key requirement of this role will include travel to additional sites on and ad-hoc and planned basis, therefore you will require a current UK driving licence.
