NES IT are curently looking for a Mac/ PC Desktop Support engineer to join a leading Creative Communications Consultancy. A Mac/PC Desktop Support Technician is needed to join a team of two responsible for the companys IT infrastructure. Supporting 100+ users, maintaining all software, hardware, portables, Intel workstations, servers, network, printers, routers, switches and blackberries. (basically all IT devices) The job involves providing all level of support along with and hands on/remote support to users

The ideal candidate will have strong experience of installation, configuration, network administration etc with Windows XP/Vista/2003, Active Directory, Exchange 2003, TCP/IP networking and Mac OS X

Main responsibilities for this position will be to provide professional support to 100+ workstations (40% Microsoft Windows XP/Vista and 60% Mac OS X 10.4/10.5) running QuarkXPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Office 2004, Windows XP/Vista workstation, Microsoft Exchange 2003, Outlook 2003, Acrobat 7/8, Office 2000/2003/2007.

Exposure to SQL Server, Audio/Video, Linux, Business continuity, Information Security, remote client editing systems are advantageous but not essential.
