Resp.for the delivery of specific IT projects which will incl. Global Active Directory deployment, Global WAN implementation & migration of core global sys. to a managed hosting facility. May also incl. the 2nd & 3rd phases of a Global CRM deployment. Required to have extensive PM exp.of running & successfully delivering IT Infrastructure projects, within a distributed & diverse organisation. Project manage the Infrastructure programmes, ensuring tight controls are maintained through all aspects of the project lifecycle. Generation of project doc. such as a PID, PDR, RAG reports, etc. Run projects using Prince 2. Act as the interface between the project team & the business units globally, as well as to senior management. Support & assist any change management program identified to assist in the successful deployment of any project. Provide expertise on techn. delivery to the project. Resp. for the doc. of all aspects of the projects incl. functional designs & techn.architecture. Budget management, forecasting & procurement. Possible Virtual Teams Depending on Project Size. Works well with ext. vendors & service providers. Strives to maintain a sound knowledge of the business & engineering industry. Data capture & data quality.Preferably have previously worked as an infrastructure PM. Knowledge of a range of Infrastructure techn. such as active directory, MPLS, & Citrix would be a benefit. Working knowledge of Change Control & Document Management processes. Small amount of domestic & international travel. This role is a fixed 12 month contract based on salary rather than a daily rate.
