My client is looking for an experienced Reporting Development Manager to develop and implement a Business Object reporting platform, develop extraction capability to enable and support the MIAP in delivering strategic reporting extracts for sector reporting, develop a reporting and updating timetable to enable reports to be prodiced on a cyclical basis, develop a business process to enable requests for new reports to be logged and evaluated where appropriate, ensure that dashboard reporting can be run with a minimal amount of user skills and training, ensure reporting capability includes suitable MS office integration and act as a champion for ETL and reporting data models ensuring that the reporting architecture delivered is capable of minimising cost and complexity. Essential criteria for this role includes substantial experience in defining and building business objects reporting for multiple stakeholders, experience in data and information standards specification and management, in depth understanding of the FE system, its data requirements, collection, delivery and use, in depth experience in establishing and managing data quality assurance and management process in a complex organisation, expertise in designing and implementing data architectures and models, expertise in the technical investigation of data quality problems and the ability to develop and deliver communication of complex technical information in ways that are understandable to a wide range of different audiences.
