I am looking for a Senior Reward Consultant to work within my clients HQ HR department, the ideal candidate will provide Reward expertise in creating and implementing variable pay solutions to compliment fixed pay offerings in one or more significant areas of rewards practice;
To support the Head of Reward and Performance in driving forward the IPS Reward agenda (as set out in its Pay Remit) and specifically to work with IPS HR colleagues and operational senior managers and Directors to implement the Reward strategies;
Key stakeholders are Executive Directors and Senior Management in IPS, Home Office HR colleagues and those in the Cabinet Office.
The candidate will essentially have:
A Reward Specialist with demonstrable experience of the processes needed lead the implementation of pay awards and any related changes within the Civil Service or wider public sector
Ability to produce workable plans for effective implementation and related reporting mechanisms
Demonstrable, strong analytical and numerical skills; comfortable working up reward schemes including evidence of working with pay analysis, trends and modelling Systems, ability to design, set out and deliver thought through processes in support of rewards and benefits strategies minimising risks of anomaly and inequity
Proven ability to respond and resolve complex reward/pay queries
Experience of successful communications with and influencing with peers, senior managers and collaborating with key stakeholders within and outside IPS
Excellent report writing ability, including the use of spreadsheets and other presentation media Experience of working in a fluid and challenging environment
The candidate will currently have, or will be willing to undergo Government security clearance.
