Our client is seeking to appoint a contract applications Developer with additional support skills in the following technical areas;

> Strong Unix/Linux (Redhat)
> Informix online (V7)
> XML interface experience (desirable)
> Experience of working with Mobile devices (Windows Mobile etc.)

This role is an interim position covering a transition period, the responsibilities include support and maintenance of an application which interfaces (via XML) with a handheld solution, running on an Informix online database (v7). The contract will last 3 months and requires a strong technical knowledge in the essential areas of Unix/Linux and Informix.
