Systems Technician role. Providing assistance with the day to day support, administration and maintenance of client owned IT systems on transport technology projects.

Based West Byfleet

You will assist with the day to day support, administration and maintenance of client owned IT systems on transport technology projects. Reporting to the systems manager your responsibilities/duties will include system support and administration. Trouble shooting and problem solving. User support and training. System configuration and performance monitoring. Applying software and firmware updates. Hardware and software upgrades. Performing tape backups and maintaining security policies. Software licence and asset tracking. Hardware maintenance and network cabling.

You will have proven experience in Microsoft network support and administration, Microsoft Certified Professional qualified or equivalent knowledge. You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be result driven and comfortable working within a team or alone.
