My client is seeking a Test Assurance Manager on a 3 month initial contract to be based in Telford. The role will entail; Supporting and providing assurance of the clients IT Suppliers Test Activities
{ Providing the IT Suppliers with an agreed level of support to enable them to complete their test responsibilities.
{ Approving the IT Suppliers Test Strategy.
{ Reviewing and signing off the supplier test plans to ensure activities are commensurate with the level of change being introduced.
{ Agreeing the level of test evidence required and measures of success.
{ Commissioning the production of clients input into the IT Suppliers scripting processes and ensuring coverage of this input is achieved.
{ Corroborate test progress, by reviewing test data against an agreed execution schedule and ensuring deliverables are delivered against plan.
{ Resolving issues arising from IT Supplier test planning and execution.
{ Ensuring testing related risks and issues are registered and managed as appropriate.
{ Producing Test Strategies and plans.
Liasing with the Business Project Manager and IT Supplier to ensure Business Testing activities are agreed, planned, supported and monitored. Must be qualified to ISEB foundation in software testing or have the equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
Need to have a good understand the IT Development Lifecycle & Testing Processes, including:
{ The planning, design, management, execution and reporting of tests,
{ The application of 'Risk Based Testing' approaches,
{ And the use of appropriate testing tools and techniques to ensure that new and amended systems, together with any interfaces, perform as specified. Security clearance to basic level must be confirmed prior to start.
