I am looking for a Controls and Information Engineer to work in London on an initial 6 month contract.

You will need to provide technical expertise in control and information engineering and in engineering assurance for control and information systems related projects being developed by the new Team. For Underground control and information engineering, you will need to produce technical strategies and requirements, engineering options and advice on control and information systems designs, reports and assurance documentation so as to ensure standards compliance, correct application of signalling principles, safety, reliability, maintainability and availability.

Have you provided control and information engineering support to control and information or software projects on the Underground, involving requirements capture and scope definition?

Do you understand the constraints of 'brown field' projects on an operating railway?

Do you have knowledge and understanding of railway signalling principles?

Have you developed and interpreted quantified risk assessments (QRAs)?
