Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager to work on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects to ensure that design solutions are fully integrated across all disciplines and meet the Client's brief. You will act as a Technical Specialist on Civil & Structural Engineering projects. You will be technically responsible for the design and assessment of bridges and other structures and will assist with business development opportunities in the areas of civil and structural engineering. You will develop processes and procedures with the various design teams to ensure compliance and assurance of the deliverables and set out methodology for undertaking various design tasks.

To be the ideal candidate you will:
Have a wide knowledge of all relevant disciplines, and in-depth understanding of Civil and Structural Engineering.
Ideally be a Chartered Engineer.
Be enthusiastic about developing technical expertise, with strong commercial awareness and good project management experience.
Have knowledge of basic management techniques and procedures and have successfully supervised a technical team.
Ideally have experience of tendering and developing new business and previously worked in an engineering consultancy.
