Working on behalf of a leading Operator this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work within Houston USA.
The Mechanical Engineer will have the following key responsibilities
� Apply strong mechanical engineering background (e.g. rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, etc.) to the design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of offshore equipment and systems � Apply experience in major upstream capital project execution (preferably experienced in offshore facilities)� Ensure that Incident & Injury Free culture is reflected in facility design and all phases of project execution� Interface with other engineering disciplines, business unit personnel, existing facilities and other projects� Work effectively within a multinational project team, business unit personnel and partner representatives

Required Qualifications

� Minimum of 10 years related experience.� Bachelor�s degree required in Mechanical Engineering.� Strong mechanical engineering background (e.g. rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, etc.)� Major upstream capital project design, procurement, fabrication and hookup & commissioning experience (preferably on offshore facilities)� Must demonstrate ability to work well within a multinational team, other engineering disciplines, Business Unit personnel, existing facilities and other projects.� Ability to ensure that IIF culture is reflected throughout all phases of the project.
