My client requires expert advice on the design and effective implementation of performance and reward systems.

The individual selected will be required, as a minimum to undertake the following duties:

� Work with the project team and the hr team to develop specific, detailed and fully costed options for the client, based on agreed principles and outline proposals emerging from the consultancy report.
� Work with the project team on developing and presenting persuasive briefing for internal stakeholders including the Board and directors group, the remuneration committee, and staff representatives.
� Work with the hr team to develop a process for migrating individual employees from the existing system to the new performance and reward system.


The consultant engaged must be able to demonstrate that they have the following skills and relevant experience.
� That they have expert knowledge of current theories on performance, motivation and reward including an in-depth understanding of the non-monetary aspects of reward and their effect on performance.
� Are an experienced professional with a track record of leading similar projects across a range of clients (ideally including public sector organisations).
� That they are familiar with the Cabinet Office and Treasury guidance on public sector pay and reward systems.
� A demonstrable persuasive and authoritative personal style enabling them to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
� Be able to demonstrate the drive and skill required to ensure the successful delivery of the project to time.
