Our client, a prestigious consultancy, is looking to recruit a Principal Permanent Way Engineer to their offices based in Swindon.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and developing the P-Way team
2. Management and technical leadership on current projects
3. Business Development
4. Detailed design and checking of track designs to industry standards
5. Outline design and cost estimation schemes
Contribution to major multifunctional transport projects
6. Contribution to survey works and method statements
Successful completion of projects. This includes preparation of briefs, scope of works, etc.
7. Ensuring the completion of technical tasks as appropriate to complete the works
8. Liaison with clients, stakeholders, other professional bodies and contractors etc.

Requirements
1.Previous experience of Permanent Way (P-Way) design (both S&C and plain line) with a thorough working knowledge of industry standards is essential
2. You will have acted in a position of seniority as a client liaison
3. You will be comfortable in producing technical reports
4. As a minimum, you will be BTEC/HNC qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
