Essential Experience � A commitment to high awareness of current safety legislation / implementation is an imperative.Will have a minimum of 15 years post graduate employment experience, typically in a broad range of project roles which may include design, planning, project engineering, cost engineering, estimating, construction, commissioning. Should have a minimum of 10 years project engineering/project management experience within this 15 year duration in the oil and gas, petrochemical industry or other high integrity / safety critical sectors e.g. nuclear, rail, power generation.Experience should include all phases of project life cycle, including: Project start up, definition, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and close outProven track record of successful delivery in a multiple project / works project environment.Preferred experience in fast track projects where Design and Construction phases have a significant overlap Ability to manage a range of complex projects simultaneously.Proven ability to control scope, schedule and direct/indirect costs.Understanding of project management techniques.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work to tight timescales/self starter.Ability to develop good Client relationships.
