This is a high level position that requires specialist skills in client/account/relationship management. Of particular importance is the ability to build strong and effective work relationships with NHS CIOs, their senior managers, and with suppliers, and manage the conflicting demands and tensions of a range of stakeholders. Other key elements of the role are innovative thinking, maintaining relationships in difficult circumstances and breaking down organisational barriers.

�exp of working with large scale and complex service management and service desk structures

�Ability to provide and receive complex information related to Accreditation, interpreting and conveying the concepts to others in a clear way, requiring the highest level of interpersonal and communication skills.

�exp of ITIL Service Management process planning

�exp working in a Service Management consulting role

�Ability to function as a member of a multi professional team

�Demonstrable experience in presenting ideas / information and gaining agreement from key senior stakeholders in organisations where there have been strong barriers to understanding or strong conflicting expert opinion
Desirable

�Membership of professional bodies, such as the itSMF, BCS

�Knowledge of Service Management tools

�exp of operating and delivering projects to the public sector

�Knowledge of Service Desk tools

�Knowledge of Service Management Reporting tools

�Prince 2 Practioner

�Experience of managing multiple projects in a programme
