Technical Assurance Specialist required to work on a fixed term contract (to Nov 2012 initially). The responsibilities of the role include:
Assurance and coordination of the approaches adopted for technology delivery
and Integrity of system builds for operational, testing and DR environments.

To be considered for the role, you must have a broad understanding of technologies required to deliver state of the art web based systems including:

� Comprehensive internet based architectures
� Linux, Solaris, Windows operating systems
� Apache Tomcat and JBOSS
� Sun Identity Management, Single Sign on and Access Management
� Databases including Oracle, MySQL and SQL server
� Java
� Firewalls (CISCO and Checkpoint) and Intrusion Detection Systems
� Networks
� Content Management Systems including Mediasurface
� Systems Monitoring tools
� VMWare
� SAN
� Siebel


You must also have:
� A strong understanding of how systems are technically configured across a number of platforms
� A strong understanding of security implications of internet systems design and build
� An understanding of capacity and performance management of enterprise strength integrated systems
� An understanding of security implications for internet facing systems
� A good understanding of Service Management principles including ITIL
� A good understanding of Project Management principles with awareness or more in depth knowledge of Prince 2
� Good organisational skills, influencing and communication skills.
